Fully functional prototypes

Armed with a versatile arsenal of in-house prototyping capabilities we can bring your vision to life. From one part to thousands; no project is too big or too small.

Our Prototyping Capabilities

FDM 3D Printing

Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM) is the perfect choice for projects requiring large, strong parts with an emphasis on speed.

  • Wide selection of standard plastics: With FDM technology we can produce parts made of thermoplastics such as PLA, ABS, ASA, PETG and TPU to name a few
  • Robust and functional: FDM parts are ideal for large components or parts subject to increased wear
  • Dimensional accuracy: Typical tolerance of +/- 0.1 mm depending on geometry, thicker layer lines (typically 0.1-0.8 mm)

FDM Materials

  • ABS / ASA – Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene / Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate
  • PLA – Polylactic Acid
  • PETG – Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol
  • TPU (Shore hardness 85A-95A) – Thermoplastic Polyurethane
  • PC – Polycarbonate
  • PET – Polyethylene Terephthalate
  • Nylon

SLA 3D Printing

Stereolithography printing is the perfect choice for projects requiring highly detailed and precise components.

  • Wide selection of material properties: We stock a wide selection of UV resins, including high temperature, transparent and silicone-like resins
  • Smooth surface finish: Using SLA technology we can produce highly intricate and precise parts with a minimal layer lines
  • Dimensional accuracy: Typical tolerance of +/- 0.05 mm depending on geometry, thinner layer lines (typically 0.01-0.05 mm)

SLA Materials

  • General purpose resin – Available in a range of colours
  • Clear / Translucent
  • Temperature Resistant (Up to 250 C)
  • Biocompatible – Typically used for dentistry applications

Post-processing and finishing

Our in-house finishing can turn 3D printed parts into polished products, perfect for visual models.

  • Paints and coatings: Adding the final touches to your prototype with a wide selection of paints and finishes
  • Assembly and model making: Have an extensive project in mind? We can provide bespoke assembly and modelling techniques to get your project across the finish line
